This sunday, September 29th, the last chapter of Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad was aired. The conclusion was highly expected by fans in the whole world and it explains why the finale had 8 million viewers.
As usual, many of those viewers decided to watch the episode together in a Viewing Party. The same happened with other popular TV shows like The Sopranos, Lost or Seinfeld, many cities from US were swiped by those meetings. Check the six places where many fans went to watch the finale:
1) Los Angeles: Cinespia is the Hollywood’s most storied cemetery. The tickets of US$ 45 were sold out in one minute, re-sellers offered them for US$ 1000.
2) Miami: the Will Call space offered US$ 50 off discount in the bar for everyone who had a Breaking Bad inspired costume.
3) New York: the Professor Tom's store has hosted viewers of Breaking Bad in previous seasons and, this time, offered a Happy Hour and drinking game inspired in the series.
4) Philadelphia: the Old Eagle Tavern offered fried chicken and drafts inspired in the show.
5) Boston: Tommy Doyle’s in Kendall Square screened the finale on two projectors and five LCD televisions. Although the event was free, they charged a donation of US$ 5,00.
6) Albuquerque: the screening was held at Hotel Albuquerque with themed treats and libations, booths from local businesses specialized in products of the TV show.
