Guest Post

Taptrip Blog was originally developed to support Taptrip App which users can meet friends all over the world during virtual trips. This app can make the world closer because even people who can not travel get the chance of meeting people from other countries.

As the main content of the app is travel, the purpose of this blog is telling interesting stories and helpful info about many places for travelers and for people who like travel, although they cannot travel.

That's why the blog needs stories from people from the entire world and would be very nice to have yours shared here.

However, to be considered for publication, the post needs to be written and submitted according to the Guest Post Guidelines below.

Guest Post Guidelines

If you have lived interesting experiences in your country or other countries and have tips to share, along with 3-4 related photos that you personally took, you are ready to write a guest post on Taptrip Blog.

Content

Your post should be on one of these topics, written from a first-hand experience.
  • Experiences in other countries
  • Discoveries in your hometown
  • Situations involving culture and language exchange
  • Stories about friendship online or overseas

Your post cannot be an advertisement for a product or a sponsored post.

Guidelines

Your post must be original and not previously published.

You agree not to publish the guest post anywhere else on the web or in print, including your own blog or Web site after it's been published on Taptrip Blog. However, you may post a brief summary or “teaser” on your site that links to the post.

You may provide a brief bio to be included with the guest post. Your bio can be 3-4 lines and include up to three links to where readers may find you. These include links to Twitter, your blog, Facebook, etc.

Your post should be a minimum of 350 words long and no more than 800 words.

Your post should close with a question designed to stimulate comments from readers and, of course, you are free to interact with them.

If your post is rejected for not attending the guidelines, you are free to do with it as you please.

Editing

I reserve the right to edit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.  If the edits are substantial, I will email the revised post to your approval.

I may provide a short introduction, conclusion or comment to your post for clarification purposes or to call some important piece of information out. If this happens, I will let readers know this short part was written by me and not by you.

I will let you know in advance when your post will run. After being published, I will promote it through the social networks of Taptrip and I encourage you to do the same. I also expect you to monitor your post to respond comments.

I appreciate your interest in sharing your experience and hope we can engage more people who love travel stories.
